What the Company and Sortd can see

While this phone is managed, the Company (and Sortd, acting for the Company) can see basic, work-related information about the phone itself:

• ✓The apps installed on the phone, including apps that were removed.
• ✓The phone's ID numbers and its make, model, and brand.
• ✓The software version and security update level.
• ✓The phone's hardware and system status, memory and storage levels, and screen/display details.
• ✓Whether the phone is connected to a network and basic network status, not the content of your messages or calls.
• ✓The phone's security settings and compliance status, for example whether it is encrypted and following Company policy.
• ✓Power events such as when the phone is turned on or off and its battery state.

The Company can remotely lock or wipe this phone

If the phone is lost, stolen, or you leave the role, the Company can remotely lock the phone or remotely erase (wipe) it back to factory settings. A wipe removes the data on the phone.

What the Company and Sortd do NOT collect or read

The management software cannot and does not access any of the following:

• ✓Your personal messages (texts, chats).
• ✓Your personal files.
• ✓Your personal email.
• ✓Your photos or other media.
• ✓Your web browsing history.
• ✓Keystrokes, microphone or camera capture, real-time GPS location tracking, or the contents of any app.

In short: the Company can see what apps and settings are on the phone and whether the phone is healthy and compliant — it does not read your personal messages, files, email, photos, or browsing history, and it does not log keystrokes, capture your microphone or camera, track your real-time GPS location, or read the contents of any app.

A note about this device

This is a company-owned, work-only phone, locked to approved work apps, that can be wiped. Use your own personal device for personal matters and do not store anything on this phone you would not want erased.

Acknowledgment

I have read and understand this notice. I understand that this phone is owned by the Company, that it is locked to approved work apps and centrally managed, that the Company and its management provider can see the phone information described above, and that the phone can be remotely locked or wiped. I understand that my personal messages, files, email, photos, and browsing history are not collected or read, and that keystrokes, microphone/camera, real-time GPS location, and app contents are not accessed.
