01 · Who we are
The Sortd Chrome Extension (“the Extension”) is published by JNS RE Holdings LLC, doing business as Automate Boring. Sortd™ is our SaaS platform for Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) owners. The Extension syncs operational data from Amazon’s DSP portals into the Sortd dashboard used by the signed-in DSP owner.
Contact: automateboringai@gmail.com.
02 · Single purpose of the Extension
The Extension has one purpose: while a Sortd customer is signed in to Amazon’s DSP portals in their own browser, read the DSP’s operational data from those pages and forward it to the customer’s own Sortd dashboard. The Extension does not do anything else.
03 · What the Extension reads
While the user is signed in to Amazon DSP portals, the Extension reads the following data from the pages they visit:
- Delivery associate compliance data — Compliance status, training completion, and license / certification records from Amazon Cortex.
- Sign-in and shift data — Daily sign-in times, route assignments, and delivery completion timestamps from Amazon Logistics.
- Performance metrics — Delivery success rates, customer feedback scores, and safety metrics from Amazon DSP scorecards.
- Roster information — Delivery associate names, Amazon transporter IDs, shift assignments, and employment status.
This data belongs to the DSP business that operates the Amazon station. The Extension transmits it over HTTPS to the Sortd API server, where it is stored in that DSP’s private partition of our Supabase (PostgreSQL) database. Row-level security keeps each DSP’s data isolated from every other customer.
04 · What the Extension never collects
- Amazon credentials — The Extension never reads Amazon username or password fields.
- General browsing history — The Extension only activates on the Amazon DSP portals listed under host permissions. It does not observe any other site.
- Customer (delivery recipient) PII — No information about the consumers receiving Amazon packages is captured.
- Payment or financial data — None.
- Analytics, tracking, or ad identifiers — The Extension contains no third-party analytics, tracking pixels, fingerprinting, or advertising SDKs.
05 · How the data is used
- Power the signed-in DSP owner’s Sortd dashboard — Compliance monitoring, payroll tracking, performance analytics, and operational alerts.
- Deliver alerts the DSP owner configured — SMS or email alerts that the DSP owner has set up in their own Sortd workspace (for example, license-expiring alerts to their own drivers).
- Never sold, rented, or shared — We never sell or share Extension-captured data with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to providing the Sortd service to the DSP that owns the data.
- Never used to train AI models — Extension-captured data is never used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models, and is never used for creditworthiness or lending decisions.
06 · Chrome permissions — why each is needed
- scripting — Inject the content scripts that read data from the Amazon DSP pages the user is viewing.
- tabs / activeTab — Detect when an Amazon portal tab is open and interact with the active tab to trigger a sync.
- storage — Store the user’s Sortd API key and sync preferences locally in the browser.
- cookies — Detect (read-only) whether the user has an active Amazon session before attempting a sync. Cookie values are never transmitted off the device.
- webRequest — Observe Amazon portal API responses in the user’s own tab so the Extension can capture operational data efficiently without re-fetching pages.
- alarms — Schedule periodic background sync checks.
07 · Host permissions
The Extension only requests access to the domains it needs to function:
- https://logistics.amazon.com/\* — Read DSP operational data.
- https://cortex.amazon.com/\* — Read scorecard and compliance data.
- https://deliverimates-production.up.railway.app/\* — The Sortd API backend that receives the synced data and serves the dashboard.
08 · Storage, security, and retention
- All transport is TLS / HTTPS — No exceptions.
- Server-side storage — Supabase (PostgreSQL) in the United States, with row-level security enforcing per-DSP isolation.
- API key storage — The Sortd API key is stored locally in Chrome’s extension storage on the user’s device.
- Retention — Synced data is retained for as long as the DSP’s Sortd subscription is active. Customers can request deletion at any time by emailing us; verified deletion requests are honored within 30 days.
09 · Your rights
- Uninstall any time — Remove the Extension from chrome://extensions to stop all data collection by the Extension.
- Access your data — Request a copy of the data associated with your account.
- Correct or delete — Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Revoke Extension access — Remove the Sortd API key from the Extension popup.
- CCPA — California residents have the additional rights granted by the CCPA, which we honor at no cost and without retaliation.
10 · Chrome Web Store Limited Use compliance
The Extension complies with the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, including the Limited Use requirements. Data accessed through the Extension is used only for the single purpose described in section 02 above and is not transferred to any third party except as necessary to provide the Sortd service to the DSP that owns the data, or as required by law.
11 · Changes to this policy
We will update this page if we change what the Extension collects or how the data is used. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will also be surfaced inside the Sortd dashboard.
